Snood was originally released for Mac OS in 1995 as shareware, subsequently upgraded to the classic Game Boy Advance version and finally to MS DOS and Microsoft Windows. You will have a better experience playing this version on your iPad if you have trouble seeing the smaller snoods. You can also try the zoom feature by pressing the magnifying glass on the top of the screen while playing. If you have trouble seeing the snoods on the harder difficulties you can go back to child difficulty with bigger snoods by tapping the difficulty button on the main screen. Over all I like this one better but it goes from fun and playable to difficult pretty quick. Sadly I don’t have anything good to say about that one either. Also called snood and it had a great review.

With a PC and mouse arrow even with out the laser pointer it was easier than trying to use my finger on a tiny screen. Making it harder to even guess where you’re pointing. But then after you have fun with the first 3 levels and get to ‘easy’ there is no laser pointer and the faces are considerably smaller. The faces are decent size and game play is entertaining. at first you see the laser or whatever show you exactly where the ball will go. as soon as you ‘unlock easy mode’ it goes from fun to just stupid!. But the first few levels are good and that’s it!. The characters are the same and mechanics pretty much are the same and the tapping to shoot is great. I hoped it would be just as much fun as the old PC original. We would appreciate if you contact us at so that we can address any crashes you are experiencing It would be nice if it also worked in landscape orientation, but at least now I don’t feel ripped off, and I’ve bumped up my review by 2 stars, to 4 stars. It’s been working fine as long as I keep my iPad upright. I haven’t responded because I’ve figured out that this app does NOT like landscape mode. UPDATE: The developers reached out to me, which was nice of them. It would be nice to think that the developers would return the favor by debugging what must be relatively simple coding.
Unfortunately, I paid for the ad-free version. Sometimes it crashes and quits in the middle of a game. I want to keep loving it, but the version for iPad crashes and freezes WAY too often for it to be fun. I loved this game back in ye olden days when it was developed for the PC/Mac.
