Ember Lab is already planning its next game, and that's certainly an exciting prospect indeed, though playing through the studio's first effort already comes highly recommended. It's one of those rare games that feels like it belongs to the new generation thanks to its magnificent world, and its developers knew exactly how ambitious to be while still providing a top rate experience. Overall, Kena: Bridge of Spirits is absolutely brilliant. The game could also perhaps do with more accessibility options - there is only one size of subtitle and it's quite small, although thankfully button remapping is available. Minor glitches will hopefully be addressed, such as a couple of instances where enemies don't spawn in properly, or rare audio glitches that mar the otherwise fantastic soundtrack by the score occasionally cutting out abruptly when the player moves into a new location.
