Ember Lab is already planning its next game, and that's certainly an exciting prospect indeed, though playing through the studio's first effort already comes highly recommended. It's one of those rare games that feels like it belongs to the new generation thanks to its magnificent world, and its developers knew exactly how ambitious to be while still providing a top rate experience. Overall, Kena: Bridge of Spirits is absolutely brilliant. The game could also perhaps do with more accessibility options - there is only one size of subtitle and it's quite small, although thankfully button remapping is available. Minor glitches will hopefully be addressed, such as a couple of instances where enemies don't spawn in properly, or rare audio glitches that mar the otherwise fantastic soundtrack by the score occasionally cutting out abruptly when the player moves into a new location. That's not to say that Kena: Bridge of Spirits is perfect, as there are a few issues here and there. The game follows a young spirit guide who uses her magical. Meanwhile, its boss battles are also fantastically-crafted, with each feeling sufficiently different while still allowing the player to put their learned skills into practice. Kena: Bridge of Spirits is an action-adventure game inspired by the Japanese and Balinese cultures. Kena unlocks four key skills over the course of the game that are useful to all elements of play, such as a long range bow to hit distant targets and spirit bombs to get through armored enemies or rearrange the environment. This is also true of the main gameplay, which covers all the core strands of action adventure games in combat, puzzles, and platforming. Find and grow a team of tiny spirits known as the Rot who maintain balance by decomposing dead and rotting elements. After unlocking the Dash ability, head down. Order the Rot to move the drum into the circle on the ground, then use it to climb up through a hole to find the Spirit Mail. Start at the Hat Cart, then follow the stairs on the right up to the house with a drum inside. Kena travels to a new area, roots out relics tied to one main spirit, then brings closure to the spirit and purifies the location, fighting beasties along the way. Play as Kena, a young Spirit Guide travelling to an abandoned village in search of the sacred mountain shrine. The first Spirit Mail in Kena: Bridge of Spirits is in the center of the Village.
